Delicious Tequila Cocktails


The beauty of tequila is that its agave flavor brings an earthy, sweet element to drinks that cannot be found in any other distilled spirit.
 It’s interesting to see how that flavor reacts with a variety of mixers, so let’s begin your tequila adventure with a few essential cocktails.

Loodie Bloody Mary

  • ¾ measure of tequila.
  • 1½ measures of tomato juice.
  • ½ lemon juice.
  • Salt.
  • 2-3 whole cloves.
  • Pepper.
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar.
  • 1 sprig of celery.

Mix all ingredients in the shaker, except celery and cloves.
Add crushed ice and shake well.
Strain over a short glass.
Add the cloves and some ice cubes.
Adorn it with celery.

Ponche de Tequila

  • ¼ measure of tequila.
  • 1 bottle of champagne.
  • 4 bottles of Sauternes.
  • 8 cups of fresh fruit in cubes or in small balls.
  • Sugar.

Mix all the cold ingredients in a large punch bowl.
Sweeten to your liking.
Add ice cubes before serving.

Coconut Tequila

  • ¾ measure of tequila.
  • ¼ measure of coconut cream.
  • 1 measure of orange juice.
  • ¼ measure of lemon juice.
  • ½ measure of maraschino.
  • ½ cup of crushed ice.

Pour all the ingredients into the electric mixer and beat at low speed for 10 to 15 seconds.
Serve in a pre-chilled champagne glass.
It is an ideal drink to take before a brunch in the style of Polynesia.


  • 2 measures of tequila.
  • 1 measure of cointreau.
  • ½ lemon juice.

Combine the ingredients in the shaker with ice.
Shake well.
Strain over a glass over a frosty cocktail glass with lemon

Mexican Mule

  • ¾ measure of tequila
  • Ginger ale
  • 1 slice of lime
  • 1 slice of lemon

Place 3 ice cubes in a tall glass.
Add the tequila and complete the glass with ginger ale, almost to the edge.
Remove with the agitator, squeeze the lime on the glass and garnish with the lemon slice.

Beer Buster

  • 1 measure of tequila
  • 3 drops of Tabasco sauce
  • Cold beer

Pour the tequila into a tall glass.
Complete the glass with beer and then add the Tabasco sauce.
Remove with the agitator.

Tequila Sour

  • ¾ measure of tequila
  • ½ measure of apricot liqueur.
  • ¼ measure of lemon juice.

Mix the ingredients with ice in the mixing glass.
Strain over a cocktail glass.


Mint Tequila

  • ¾ measure of tequila.
  • 6 mint leaves.
  • ¼ measure of lemon juice.
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  • ½ cup of crushed ice.
  • 1 lemon helmet.

Pour all the ingredients in the blender.
Use the average speed for 20 seconds.
Serve in a cocktail glass, garnishing with lemon.

Tequila Piña

  • 1½ tequila measurements.
  • 1½ measures of pineapple juice.
  • 1½ measures of orange juice.
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Put the ingredients in the shaker, with ice.
Shake vigorously and strain on a pineapple emptied of the pulp and filled with ice cubes.
